Summer's Bounty

At our house, we men put the “meat” on the table, but it is the ladies who make sure that our diet is enriched with plenty of greens and fruit. As a result of their diligent efforts planting, weeding, water, weeding, fertilizing, weeding, thinning, and weeding some more, our gardens are bursting with bounty and beauty. So, if you have a minute, let me take you on a quick tour…

Phillip,
Super job on those shots! You have a very nice variety of perspectives and a good eye for composition. I like the way you captured the carrots at ground level, among many others (and who knew that camera of yours was so versatile! Wow, it really lets you work in a wide range of focal lengths) Keep up the great work!

Oh! And the blog is great, too :o) A joy to read.

Wow...and I was just going to post pictures on our blog of our garden, but it doesn't come close to the bounty that you're all enjoying! Are you really growing grapes, or were those something else?

Blessings!

Yes,

You identified them correctly. The arbor with the swing in it is covered by a living canopy of grape leaves. It is one of our favorit places to retreat for quiet time or reading.
